All of the databases provide useful, detailed information about primary or secondary resource materials that aid research in the broad fields of forest, conservation, and environmental history. The Society's newest database is a catalog of images from the Forest History Society's Photograph Collection that have been scanned into a digital format. The Image Database is searchable via InMagic's Web Publisher Lite software. The five additional databases compiled by the Society are searchable using Reference Web Poster software, which allows for searching across the five databases or just within a single database. Tips for searching in this software system appear near the end of this page. |
